Brad Johnston

Professionalism, courtesy, determination and a vast knowledge of the real estate market in our region are the hallmarks of Brad’s 30+ years in the Real Estate industry. As co-owner and Principal Broker for Hometown Realty of Greeneville, Brad brings his experience and unmatched negotiating skills to every client he works for.

Not only a force in sales, Brad leads in his community and is a leader in guiding our industry and region. Past President of the Greeneville Brokers council, board of directors of our MLS and leader in our community. Life long resident of Greene County, Brad and his wife Ginia own the family Tennessee Century farm, Johnston Farm, 182 rolling acres of farmland with magnificent mountain views. Brads lifelong passion for this land, as well as his families generational farming culture give him unmatched insight for land, farms, and the need to not be “fenced in”.

Proud parent to 3 children and grandparent to 8 –  family and the need to create a place for family are understood and shared with clients seeking to create their own family farm. Proud graduate of Greeneville High School, Brad continued his education at Tusculum College, graduating with a degree in Business Administration in 1990. Two years later he obtained his auctioneer license with Missouri Auction School, then became a Realtor and Broker.

Ginia Johnston

Broker Owner, Realtor

Ginia Johnston began her career as a Realtor in 2004, when she and husband & business partner Brad and their 3 children opened Hometown Realty of Greeneville. Twenty years and 8 grandkids later, God continues to bless her and this family business with amazing clients and record breaking sales year after year. Working side by side with her spouse Brad, they created an office of success and steadfast reliability, with unmatched work ethic and dedication to clients and clients families needs.

Joined by their children and fellow Realtors Hayden Johnston and Alyssa Johnston, this family business is much more than just a name. It is a passion and legacy, giving Ginia insight into how to better assist her clients in their desires to find that legacy property for their children. Real Estate is much more than a client list and a sign to her, it is an honor to assist buyers in their search for the home of their dreams, as well as guiding sellers through the process of letting go and moving towards their next home.

Passionate about this area, specifically her beloved Greene County, Ginia is a tour guide for her out of town clients, opening the doors to just how lovely life can be in her hometown. Miranda Myers

Realtor

Miranda was born and raised on a farm in Greene County, Tennesee. She has been a resident of Greene County her whole life. Miranda takes great pride in her community and is always eager to talk about growing up here and show new residents the beauty that Greeneville and the surrounding community has to offer.

She is very active with her family in the community, Miranda is married to Bart Myers and they have two sons, Levi and Luke. Miranda attended South Greene High School and Walter State College, she obtained her real estate license and joined Hometown Realty of Greeneville in 2009.

She brings a wealth of experience to real estate, previously working in Insurance, banking, and in the Towering Oaks School System as an educator. During the day you can find Miranda out with clients showing them Greene County and surrounding areas. She loves the paperwork, contracts, negotiation, and is a straight up shooter.

In her free time she participates in her community, she loves working on the farm with her husband, and spending time with family. In Miranda’s words “My defintition of a realtor is somone who looks out for their client and listens to them. A good agent will always be looking out for YOUR best interest. My definition of a friend is a caring individual who is there to listen, lend a hand, who is always honest and makes you a priority in their life. I want to be your agent and your friend!”

Nellie Metcalfe

Affiliate Broker

Nellie Metcalfe was born and raised in Greene County. Nellie has 25 years of experience in the real estate field. As a realtor she specializes in residential and commercial real estate as well as bringing buyers and sellers of farms and vacant land together. Nellie’s motto is “Real Estate Made Simple” which reflects on her ability to ensure that your real estate transaction will go smoothly from start to finish.

Additionally, Nellie is knowledgeable of all neighborhoods, school districts and applicable zoning regulations within this area.

Nellie is excited to be able to serve her friends and clients in Greeneville and Greene County and also out-of-state buyers with all their real estate needs.

Hayden Johnston

Broker, Property Manager

Hayden Johnston was born and raised in Greene County and has been serving his community as a top agent since 2016. He lives in Greeneville with his wife and two kids as he continues both legacies of farming on a century farm and selling real-estate.

 Hayden works to ensure clients with the highest level of professionalism and devotion. His incredible work ethic is something his clients treasure, as well as his familiarness with Greeneville and Greene County. He cares for his clients like they are family and is known for his unwavering kindness and warm smile.

Brandy Birdwell

Affiliate Broker

Brandy was born and raised in the heart of Mosheim in western Greene County. She grew up playing sports, working cattle, raising tobacco and working in the hay fields. Through this, she learned the work ethic and unique skill it takes to thrive on a family farm. After high school Brandy attended Walter State Community College and then the University of Tennessee and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agri-Business.

Today, Brandy along with her husband Patrick and daughter Samantha, own and operate their family farm in the Southern part of Greene County. Through this experience, Brandy has the knowledge of what it takes to be successful in agriculture and how to enjoy the outdoor recreation that comes with land.

Brandy has relocated a variety of people from all over the United States. She feels that her knowledge of the area and the experiences of having lived here all her life gives her an advantage in helping you with all of your real estate needs. Whether buying or selling, Brandy has the experience and skills to work for you.

Joshua Bennett

Born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Joshua Bennett has become a native of the Northeast Tennessee area of Greeneville and Greene County. Today, Josh brings with him a proven track record for exceptional business practices and client services to all forms of Real Estate.

A hard-working family man, Josh married a local native Jessica (Jessi) Smith and is an enthusiastic father of three. Greene County is an outstanding place for family, with amazing schools, and a real sense of community. “It is an honor to work for people in helping them buy and sell their homes in this area,” said Josh.

Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching and Education from Tusculum College. Aside from Family, Faith, and Business, Josh’s greatest passion is giving back. Josh was sold on many things in Tennessee when he first arrived. He arrived initially to play basketball for Tusculum College, the met his future wife and establed his own family roots. Next up, his foundation and career in the community, where Josh has also been a Coach in the local Greeneville area since 2011. Persistent and passionate Josh continues selling Tennessee and Greene County with an opportunity that was simply given to him.

Alyssa Johnston

Realtor

A true Greeneville native, Alyssa was born and raised in Greene County on a family farm, where she now resides with her 3-year old daughter and German Shepherd. Alyssa’s love for real-estate began at the age of five when her parents and founders, Brad & Ginia Johnston, decided to open Hometown Realty. Throughout the years, Alyssa’s appreciation and interest for the real-estate career grew as she watched her parents hard work and dedication to the community impact the numerous amounts of clients by treating them like family & helping them find their forever home.

Alyssa’s favorite part about real-estate is getting to build connections with her clients, whether that be through service, laughter, or even recommending local places to eat. Alyssa builds her client relationships out of curiosity so she can get to know her clients better. This allows her to bring an incredibly high level of personal service that aids in finding you a home that is the perfect fit.

John Dudzinski

Realtor

John previously worked for REMAX/Encore in Columbia, TN. East Tennessee became John’s home in 2023. Moving his family to be closer to their granddaughters, John decided to move his real estate career as well. Joining Hometown Realty of Greeneville, John has now established his roots in the region.

John is originally from New York, where he joined the United States Air Force. After serving his country John continued his dreams with the Elbert County Sheriff’s office. First serving as a deputy and progressing quickly to Undersheriff and then Sheriff.

As John settled down, he then chose to start his own construction company and buy a farm. For over 27 years of his life John has been involved in the building and selling of custom homes. His vast knowledge of home construction gives him the advantage as he works with his clients in the buying and selling of their dream homes.
